Can I register on the day of the race?

We recommend early registration, you can ask your friend or family member to register on your behalf, otherwise if we have extra bibs, then you can, but your details won’t match your bib number.

What do I wear on the race day?

Comfortable clothes or gym wear for running. It might be cold in the morning, but it will get warmer and you will warm up  while running so do not overdress. Make sure you have comfortable clothes and no new running shoes, preferably a dry-fit t-shirt, running pants/shorts, and shoes that are comfortable. Bring extra cloths for after the run, you can leave it in your car or at the gear check booth at the expo village.

What is the distance?

The race has two distances, 10km and 21km they both start and finish from the same place but for the 10km runners they turn around at the 5km mark and for the 21km runners they will turn around at the 10.5km mark.

Can I wear roller skates?

No you can't.

Can I push my kid on a stroller?

Yes you can, but you have to be lined up at the end of the start line when all the runners go then you can start.

Can I bike?

No unless you are part of the marshals.

Will there be water and food?

Yes, there will be plenty of water at the route and in the expo village where all the booths are set up for the runners and families to enjoy after the run.

Are there prizes for winners?

Every runner gets a finishers medal for taking part in the race.

Where can I park?

Extensive parking all around Marina Crescent.

How long will it take me?

Depending on your level of fitness, the 10km winner will finish in approx 40-60 mins and the 21km winner in 1.5 hours -2.5 hours. We have a cut off time of 4 hours.

Where can I shower after the race?

We do not provide showering facilities on site. 

Where do I go if I need to use the bathroom?

There will be public bathrooms along the route with marked signs and at the expo village you can use marina crescent public bathroom.

Where do I place my bib number?

Your race bib goes on the front of your shirt, not the back. You can use safety pins on all four corners of the bib to keep it in place. It's important to wear your bib to let race officials know you're part of the race.

Whats inside my race kit?

The race kit includes: bib number, pins, the route map, the program, the checklist, T-shirt and some goodies and gifts from sponsors.

Can someone pick up my race kit?

Yes, only if they provide a copy of the receipt or an ID. We also take no responsibility if you did not receive your race kit.

When should I arrive at the start?

Please arrive at least one hour prior to the start of the race.

When do I pick up my race kit?

Usually the race kit collection will be 3 -7 days before the race day. Each participant will be contacted via email to receive the race kit. Also the location and timing of the pick up will be announced on our social media accounts.

What if I get hurt or cannot finish the race?

Safety is our main concern, so please use caution at all times. We will have volunteers throughout the course to assist runners that may need help during the race or afterward. We also have first aiders and medical assistance along the route and ambulance at the expo village.

Does everyone running receive a medal?

Yes all finishers will get a KCR medal.

Where can I get my results after the race?

The results will be posted on our website www.kuwaitcharityrun.com

When will the Awards for the top finishers be given out?

The ceremony takes place at 10:30 am when most runners cross the finish line.

Where is the start of the race?

Marina Crescent by Starbucks Coffee, you will see the start and finish arch and signs directing you.

Do I get a refund if I don’t run?

Entry fees are non-refundable.
